Thank you to SoapBox Soaps for providing several products to try and share my experience.
Over the past several years there has been a movement toward creating products with a do-good mission behind them and this is just wonderful. It gives us consumers the option to buy and try good-quality products while giving back.
SoapBox Soaps is one of the pioneers of this movement. It is one of those brands whose mission and actions speak louder than words. For every product sold, a bar of soap or a month of clear water is given to a person in need. In essence, you get to pamper your skin while giving back.
The products have an amazing quality making your purchase a win-win all around. I had the opportunity to try several of them and wanted to share my thoughts with you.
The SoapBox Soaps Bataua Fruit Body Wash is very soft on the skin and the scent is just wonderful. Bataua fruit is actually native to Brazil and has long been used to exfoliate and nourish the skin. This body wash combines bataua fruit oil with moisturizing shea butter for a rich and velvety lather.
I’d definitely recommend it if you have dry skin, just make sure not to shower with hot water! It’s something I’ve learned to avoid in order to keep my skin properly hydrated.
Although I love a moisturizing body wash, I’ve always been a bar soap kind of girl. This is why I immediately went for the Bataua Fruit Bar Soap when I opened the package. I’ve been using it since and I just love it. I am not the only fan, actually, my daughter Gaby steals it from me because she says it smells great! The scent is amazing and the texture is soft and nourishing. It also contains bataua fruit oil and shea butter, leaving the skin moisturized, fresh and clean.
The Coconut Liquid Hand Soap was another one of my favorites. I am a big fan of coconut, both in beauty products and in foods 🙂 and this hand soap is pure, delicious coconut. One of my big issues with generic hand soap is how easily it dries out my skin. I was happy to see that this one actually moisturized my hands and my skin didn’t feel dry or tight.
Another reason why I think these products are the complete package – all of them are Non-GMO, Vegan, B Corp, EDTA Free, Gluten Free, Palm Oil Free, Paraben Free, Petrochemical Free, and made in the US with 100% recyclable materials.
The best part of it all is that you can actually find out where your purchase is going. Simply visit www.soapboxsoap.com/hope and type in the Hope Code found on each of the items you’ve purchased!
Just to give you guys a bit of background info on the brand, SoapBox Soaps was founded in 2010 by two young entrepreneur best friends looking to make a difference by providing clean water aid and essential hygiene items. The first batch of soap was actually made in the college apartment kitchen of David Simnick, the company’s co-founder and CEO. Now, the brand can be found nationwide in some of the largest retailers.
Their mission, as explained by them, is simple: to empower consumers to change the world through everyday, quality purchases.
I say we join them and support the cause by contributing nuestro granito de arena (our bit), as we say in Spanish.
